I agree, out of all the fish I have ever kept, these have the most personality. They follow me around when I walk by the tank and they get excited when they see their food in my hand.

The other day a good buddy of mine who is always telling me to get an Umbee instead was in my waiting room and when I walked in they swam over to my side of the tank and he said, "They recognize you!"

people are amazed how they can see me coming from 15 feet away or how they get all spastic when I get out their blue feeder net [I only get it out once every two weeks when they get live food]. Just goes to show you how good of a memory they really do have.

I got a 150 to put them in this spring and when I picked it up thought to myself, where the heck am I going to put this thing. My house is rickety and there isn't any room for it.

I decided to put it in my waiting room at my shop [concrete slab] and since I'm there more when I'm awake then at home it worked out for the best. The customers love it too, it's funny hearing people come in every two or three months for service and yelling out, "holy crap, those things have gotten huge"

I just got a 280 to put them into some time this winter [I have to assemble the glass] so I can't wait to put that monster of a tank in my little waiting room.

thanks to bOOsten Audi, MJuniorC, Toungue33, R1_Ridah, and everyone else on MFK that contribute to great threads my Monos are doing great and have brought a smile to many people's faces.

Colors look vibrant to me...specially with the cam/phone you are using. Could imagine if you had a DSLR

Nice..Mono's are my favorite. Regardless I have some rarer Pbass specie in my tank my Mono's will always be with me =-)
