I got the wild ones from a guy in Bettendorf Iowa who said he got them from an importer in Wisconsin, can't remember his name.

The lighting is a 50/50 actinic I think (one bulb per hood, one half of the tube bluish the other half white) the whole setup was a marine tank when i bought it and just ran with the lights.

Those are some of the coolest mono's ive seeen yet. So how did the farm mono's look before you threw in the wild mono's? Pretty crazy the farms tried to adapt to look more sexy like the wild ones.

the two farm bass deffinately were milder in color before introducing the wild ones, they had the red tails and pectoral fins but no green tinge on their bodies or orange on their bellies. it may have just been age though...
