Glad to hear they're doing better now. Good luck on the pups. Nice video...the black aros are as mesmerizing as the rays! Nice combo, but you'll need a bigger tank in the future.

Thank you !

Yes, I know that. I'm thinking about changing the tank.

Well,

It is not good... Female stop eating two days ago... She is significantly less busy than before. 2 months after copulation I didn't see any bulge on the back, but I know that at first pregnancy, it may not be noticeable.

I was testing water and is looks good.

What to do? Maybe I should move female on the main tank ?

anybody ? please :((((

Well, nobody can help me ? :(

Yesterday I moved female to a main tank - larger ... I watched carefully, and unfortunately after a few minutes I separated a stingrays. I moved a male to a smaller aquarium.

As soon as the female appeared in a large tank, began to drag her around the aquarium. Female trying to beat him on the head using tail. Unfortunately, he is stronger so he doesn't care. He caught her by the lower part of fins. There are no traces of his "biting", but the female probably did not like it. I could not see how female was downtrodden.

A female in a large tank feels better. It is more active but still not eat. However, it seems to me that she needs time to calm.

I hope I made a good decision ...

Thank you...

I dont think females miss their male. They are rapers! First thing if you need to separate always the less stressed animal. Better way you make a seperation to split the tank this works only if you also have enough space to do that . Imagine getting first brutally raped, beaten up,waterboardered, and then get kicked out of your home. Besides that think of the bacterial fauna of the goldfish/guppys you have in your back up tank. its risky to confront a stressed ray with a new bacterial fauna. Try to get her in good condition feed her up keep her away from stress! A good active breedermale must be put in action wisely, otherwise it can do a lot of damage. Put him from time to time with 2 strong females in a sufficient big and cycled tank, let him do his tang put him out after 2-3 days.Bada bing bada bang call yourself breeder. Best you connect the tank of the females an the males so the problems of individual bacteria fauna doesnt occur they got the same bacterial fauna.

Maybe you should get a divider so you don't have to move either one. Try buying an eggcrate @ Home Depot for $8.
