I think it crosses the line of kok size, completely out of proportion. Something like this midas has, feels is balanced size. May be slightly bigger is okay.

That's why kamfas always upset me in this hobby. We need to figure out out to clone fish DNA?

Me too. I do like water koks but when the kok goes so far onto the back of the fish, or juts out really far from the front of the fish it just feels really unnatural. Like if you took off the kok of the fish and lined it up with body it seems like it would be as long as almost half of the body. Nothing against anyone who likes flowerhorns like that, just feels weird for me.

This and for the hump size it's all genetic, regular diet, set up and water changes will give the same result if you have fish with gene for that.

It's a red devil not Midas. I am not good at recognizing cichlids.
