My Nano (Picture Thread)

The tank has been doing well but I have had bad algae problems lately. I've been battling hair algae, green dust algae, and even green water .

I've removed one of the lights, shortened the photo period, and done plenty of water changes. There isn't much algae left but the water is a little cloudy.

After I removed one of the lights the HC has been growing much taller. The Rotala Wallichi has still been growing like crazy, I cut it prior to taking the pictures along with the HC. Once it grows back, I'll probably post some more pictures.

I wouldn't say so for that update... The tank is much clearer now and the Wallichi looks better now . I'll update again this weekend.

The tank is doing much better now. The water is much clearer and there is barely any more algae. Here are two pictures:

Any updates here? I'd imagine a little shrimp, crab, or crayfish would be right at home in there (though they may find their way out!)

you ought to look into getting a small uv filter. my local petsmart has one for a small that tank that worked pretty well for me. had a little power head too but it wasn't strong enough to mess up your aquascape. i threw in a few amano shrimp and they worked magic. beautiful tank man. i'm impressed and inspired to start my own mini tank after seeing your thread
