Finally got my tank in today. Picked it up this morning, and had it up and running tonight. Got the background painted on with a roller (thanks JK47
), managed to get all the plumbing sorted out, and got it on the stand. I used leslie's pool filter sand, which I really like, and it cleaned up really nice. No cloudiness at all. After the temp was right I threw on my Fx5 from my 55 and moved the fish over. The tank makes them look tiny now.
Also, I was worried about the quality of the megaflow accessory kit when I ordered them, but they work very well. The tank Is 3 feet from my head when I sleep, and it won't be an issue. My old Quiet One pump is louder than the kits and overflows. I'm also VERY happy I stuck with AGA. My LFS had a perfecto 125 right next to mine when I picked it up, and to me the difference in quality was very clear. AGA is clearly better, at least in my opinion. Anyway, enjoy the pics of the finished product.
