My new 2600 gallon plywood tank project

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Oh and the red light are LED lights I used to use on my Octopus tank. They are there so I know if the GFIC trips and kills the power to the pumps.

I was going to say it looks like you forgot to put the heater IN the water!

Hows the tear down of the 1500 going at the old house? Any pics of that?

Dare I ask what the big cooking pot is for? :WHOA:

Tear down hasn't really started yet. Just some plumbing in the back.

The cooking pot is actually my shop vac.. lol

My fiberglass and epoxy will be here Monday the 14th so my new timeline is as follows:

Monday (11/14) Extra thick non sag epoxy put into the corners of the tank for extra support
Tuesday (11/15) First coat of Epoxy (4 hours later) 2nd coat of epoxy & fiberglass put down
Wednesday (11/16) Final coat of epoxy (or 2 depending on materials left over)
Sunday (11/20) Fill test to ensure the tank is still holding water. (Which it will be)
Monday (11/21) Drain tank & Install background, complete remaining plumbing.
Tuesday (11/22) install heating system, put rocks & sand into tank.
Wednesday (11/23/11) fill tank start filtration.
