My new 2600 gallon plywood tank project

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ok after talking it over with Butch @ Pond Armor and Gerald @ Polymer Composites the general feeling is the structure is stable and it would be best to leave what it there in place and add this final layer of epoxy and fiberglass on top.

Will be starting after work tonight.

This is interesting because Butch has advised me not to another epoxy and fibre glass cloth or tape with pond armor.

I would love for you to post alot of pictures when you do the fiberglass work, this is the exact same build as im going to start on in a few weeks, and it would be alot help, to se someone actually do the work :) Nice build again!

Hope everything works out, long thread, very interesting indeed! Can't wait to see the finished tank all set up.

Will try to get as many photos as possible while doing the fiberglass. It's hard to stop in the middle and take pictures.

First coat of epoxy is down. With any luck and it dries enough I will be able to get the fiberglass down tonight as well.

Tank will be covered in a 3D background from Designs by Nature (http://www.designsbynature.net/) the color will not be seen once finished.
