Try adding Chemi-pure the big ones, you'll spend a few bucks but order online it should clear up your water and help your parameter im using it too water is super clean it suppose to last a long time

Im going to add carbon and chemi-pure as I did in my 360 and seem to work great...Along with this I should have the uv hooked up by the end of the week...

I'm sure you know what you're doing even though it did seem like you added a lot of fish pretty quickly. I just have to ask anyways if you're doing your necessary water changes and the proper amount. That'll make your water cloudy if you aren't changing enough water every week. If you're really overstocked I'd be doing two 50 or one 75 percent water change a week.

I'm doing 50% water changes twice a week and I'm starting to see the water is slowly starting to clear up. Along with that now that I added some powerheads it blows all the bio up through the overflows..I'm going to add the uv tomorrow or Friday and see how much of a difference that makes..

Have you checked your levels recently? I love what a UV does for water clarity, but wish we could figure out the cause of the cloudy water. I'm just concerned the UV is going to mask an issue that needs taken care of. How long has this tank had fish in it now? What is your stock now? How did you cycle it? It sounds like you're on the right track with the water changes, thinning the stock, and the powerheads, since it's clearing up a bit. What color is the cloudiness? If you could get a picture that might give a better idea.

I haven't tested my water lately but I will tonight. I have had fish in it now for almost a month..I used stability and started from scratch to cycle my tank...I have 8 peacock bass, 3 rays, frt, 5 widebar silver dollars, and a black aro in there currently...I will post up a pic tonight so you guys can see what I see and give me advice...The water is yellowish and cloudy at the same time..

Here's a pic from the side of the tank so you guys can see how cloudy the water is...After a long talk with kendragon though we came to the conclusion that my tank is just really starting to start the cycling progress and I'm guessing that's what's causing the cloudiness...Let me know what you guys think...

Here's a pic of my new tank cycling from scratch. Looks very similar. If you got a good filter should clear when ready. This is the same tank I have my bahias in.
