One difference that may simply be because of individual personality, but that could be significant, is that Crassipinnis seem much more outgoing than what you have said about your Orbic, jaws7777. Someone else commented on this thread about their Crassi also being very bold, and outgoing, which agrees with my experience of my little guys.

I was probably just thinking of of when you first added him... maybe the ones from Wetspot were just a bolder group initially. Mine hit the water of the new tank and acted like they had lived there their whole life, but mine don't act like they want to attack me, they just beg like little water puppies!

I remember reading this I guess it could be true but also I would think that he would have nothing to gain by saying crass is an orbics they are probably equally if not more sought after than orbics. Also read (another site) that orbics tail and anal fins are larger than commons....once that was pointed out I did notice a difference but again could be just another color morph imo who cares lol

Yeah not really caring about the specifics of that debate either.

My little Bumblebee looks good and is starting to open up just a bit more each day. I had almost ordered a Crassipinnis from The Wet Spot but this group buy for Rapps came up and decided to get the bee instead. But I still am interested to see progress pics of both of these types to see what becomes of them.

Yes pics would be mice
