Well, he seems to be fine...he is eating and swimming and normal (from what I can tell)...so I hope it is nothing. It is not getting more red, and I think maybe it is just in his color or something. It's not really on his "gills" it is his body though. His gills look ok to me.

LOL, I know...I know, bad call to impulse buy and I am horrible at it!! Usually it is Betta's I come home with cause I just feel so bad for them...I end up grabbing up the one with the least amount of water and take him! I have 3 males and 8 females as of now, because of it!!

But OMG, this poor little fella...his tank was horrible and the others were either dead or dying, I HAD to take him!!
