You can paint drylok over styro, but the concrete gives it a more realistic look.stewnew;4533481; said:im in planning process of doing this for my 30 gallon, should i use concrete or not?
I see that you used it but someone said it may not have been necessary.. is it safe to put drylock directly on the styrofoam?
