My New Background build...concrete or not??

I did not think much of it when you started, but it turned out pucker. After a while wehn it becomes covered in biofilm and algae it will look really nice and natural.

Great build.

def looks neat! i like it once you put the gravel and plants in really pulled it all togeather! was waiting to see how it turned out to decide if I do something similar for a turtle tank! Just might have to now!

im in planning process of doing this for my 30 gallon, should i use concrete or not?

I see that you used it but someone said it may not have been necessary.. is it safe to put drylock directly on the styrofoam?

You can paint drylok over styro, but the concrete gives it a more realistic look.
