Just an update on my Cons. They had eggs as I posted earlier this week. This morning I noticed they had hatched. They are now wrigglers and the parents moved them all from the pot to a pit they dug next to it.

Cool looking convicts, I remembered my convicts that I had a long time ago. I caught them from a pond and they would breed like crazy in my 10gallon. Non of the males I seen in that pond had humps on there heads though.

Hey my convict is one of my favourites too .... They have a lot of character and if you feed them the right food they develop colours in their fins... here's a pic of mine... still young but growing fast..

I just noticed that too. Mine are getting a greenish yellow tint in the fins.
