Believe it or not, one of my eels ate 3 3-4" roseline barbs, about to explode prego guppies (very round) and recently my 1.5" Ottos. Im still shocked at how both Roselines came up missing over night. They either jumped out and my dog ate the evidence or the eels ate them. My lids are sealed so all I can think is they jumped while I was feeding or during a WC and that's if they jumped.

If this was not the case, I would have gotten some baby Laces

E - You gotta think of a wolves head meng..... It's not gonna happen.... lol. They'll lay into that boney head and release. Not going to go down the hatch like a torpedo shaped roseline.

Trust me, what you need to do is act quicker then Wes does to his email and you need to go get one of those red Lacs before they're gone. I promise you won't be sorry. IF you are, I'll buy it and add it to the group I'll have here. Those guys were 3-4" when Wes got them, probably 5" by now.

let me see more pics of each, reg and red. Label them, they all look like the same wolf to me haha

The red had me itching my brain for the past few weeks only because of the title... "rare" haha

Thanks Oddball! It's an honor to hear that coming from someone like you. :)

I really don't want to get these lil wolves in the habit of trying to kill mag floats or glass scrubbers like some of my older ones do.

I think the "red lacs" will develop into something real similar to "Iguaza" wolves.

They all look real similar when small, but it's what they'll turn into that counts. I don't have any of the green eyed lil guys yet, but will definitely post pics once I get my next order.

IF you hesitate they'll be gone and you'll be forced to learn through my updates what they'll turn into instead of experiencing it in your own tank.

Keep in mind, Wes said that less and less fish are going to be coming out of there. Buy now, ask questions later.

I really think the parana cf. lacs are really cool but idk didn't he have iguaza at a larger size for like $135 last year? These guys def look more unique and as you and wes said they have a more elongated "spoon head" and a higher back, I'll seriously have to think about it..... Not sure what I want to get from Wes tbh now lol

Never saw any that cheap, but yes, there was Iguazas available. IF I had to guess that's what the Parana CF. Lacs will end up like. I have one that's about a foot and looks very similar to the lil Parana guys.

IF Wes answers his email there won't be any more Parana cfs left as they'll be coming here.....

Db u wolf hoarder! The cf. parana are piquing my interest just not sure whether I want another wolf or a polyuranodon... Wish my wallet was as fat as yours lol

Just went back and checked... The sp. Argentina was 135 but the iguaza was 150. I knew I should've picked one up. I saw your thread of the iguaza with your armatus and I thought that was really cool but it was too late

Wolf hoarder? That title's already taken by the guy who has the monster sized Aimara pack..... I'm simply in love with Lacerdae and want more. Since it's so hard to tell what's what the easiest thing to do now is buy, grow, and discover. It's what makes the hobby fun.

Wolf or eel is an easy choice...... Eels are available pretty frequently. Wolves aren't. Next question please...... lol

My wallet fat comes from breaking my back and knuckles turning wrenches...... Anyone can do this. Just ask around - everyone's a mechanic. LOL Some are just better then others. If you're a decent one you can make pretty decent loot pulling side jobs. I have no choice but to do this so that my paychecks read my name otherwise I'd be better off just having them put Wes's name on them...... LMAO.

That "sp Argentina" is what I believe to now be a 10-11" Australis and if that's the truth then I like Iguazas, Lacs, and Aimara. The Golds and Australis just aren't as appealing to me- kind of like Malaustralises sold as "green Lacs" :(
