GG, what u could do is:
1. Get it mounted.
2. Put it on a compost hemp....
3. Eat it.
4. get some cash out and get a chuffing big pond, 12" round imediately and be prepared to upgrade.....
as we have established that he will be getting rid of it i think it isn't his new pet, not for long anyway
the question is how is going to rid of it. there are 3 options.

Ok I know I dont know much about Gar and all that, but I do know that it wasnt smart to keep a Gar that big. Especially a Gator Gar, but the site is intended to help people with their pets and/or catch problems. Not to just sit there a critisize them for something they have done. I think Polypterous was way over the line about it all. All he had to do was explain that it was wrong, he didnt have to get into the whole Crying Bunny bit. Thats just immature and ignorant. No one should be insulted that way. Im not really getting in this argument i just had to speak out on this rediculousness.

So it's been stated...he can kill it or keep it (which may ultimately lead to its death anyway) but I have a feeling he's going to do whatever he wants with it....We'll never know if he releases it back in the wild or not. I do agree, however he should have just posted this in the fishing forum...showed off his catches...and left it at that.

Here is a refresher for you all....
1. a gator that big taken from the wild is ridiculous to keep and expect it to adapt well. He has no where near the experiance to handle what it would take to keep that fish at this size...
2. he has full intention to just release it anyhow when he gets bored and has zero clue about just how wrong this is...
If I hurt anyones feelings... Too bad go cry about it to someone who cares...

Actually I did read this forum word for word and what EVERYONE had to say, and I DO to an extent agree that Golden Ghost shouldnt have attempted to keep this Gar, but people are going to do what they want no matter what anyone on here has to say.
