x3 nice pair. Male is not bad looking at all. I would hold onto them and try getting a few spawns out before selling. I'm sure you know the whole shpeel on feeding feeders to your fish can give them parasites and so on, just wanna be sure you Q feeders as I would hate to see you lose the pair.

They look good. The male will probably thicken up with your regiment of food. It's a good sign that they are active and close to breeding, so soon after being introduced to your tank. I hope everything works out.

as for the feeders, I only feed fry which i personally raised. ive had too many problems when i first started this hobby with parasites so i totally agree. either QT feeders or grow your own
and Mojo's Jumbo is still a hit with me well all his jags are lol. lets see what this guy looks like in a couple months with better water quality and diet.

As far as beefing the male up, i havent seen him eat yet... im gonna get some krill and silversides and see if he likes those. hes not taking pellets or talapia so.. we'll see i know he'll eat eventually. its kinda wierd, usually when my pairs get ready to spawn they pound the food down then chill for couple weeks after spawning. and these two are getting ready to spawn and the female is eatin normal but the male doesnt seem to care so i figure when he's hungry he'll eat
