I'm glad this impressive fish has started to head in the right direction. Hopefully he'll make a full recovery. :-)

i was told that he was kept in a old folks home in a 125g for his life feed nothing but pellets his hole life. lol he was given to a lfs and managed to destroy the tank thay put him in and i got the call to come get this thing the hell out of here lol. a ruffly 55g cooler a partial shower a small net and a lot of talking to a fish that will never really understand a word of what i say lol and he was on his way home. i got him in a 300g pond with a massive water pump that he uses for exercise and loves he is pushes with out a tape around 34 to 36 inches and has to be between 25 to 30 pounds. my channel cats seem to really like the company lol. the one is about 30 inches the other close to 20. it still amazes me how strong cat fish are the pump had to be wedged between a log and side of the tank so it didn't blow itself around the pond and it is strong as hell and thay sit right in front of it with out barely moving. and come on guys tell me the timing of my ring tone wasn't perfect lmao

Many kudos for saving the fish. A three-footer in a 125??? Horrible.

They are voracious predators. I'd say your koi are in danger. Never mind that he only ate pellets all his life. Predator instincts never die.
