my new MONSTERS to be: Black Mangroves...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Looking good bro!

How about the Venus Fly Trap? Would these work?? You got me thinking about my 50gl corner tank now haha

Thanks for the kind comments boys and girl...

...So in a renewed effort to battle my Scale Insect problem (I tried the "soapy water spray" method with some success, but the Cyperus Umbrella Sedge is too dense for me to coat effectively and the insects returned with vigor); I submerged all my plants for 2 days:

And then I took the opportunity to rearrange my arrangement a bit, I'm really digging the new look (hopefully the Bacopa will fill in with a nice carpet again):

PS Kels, I have 4 P. Lily flowers now, can you spot them all??

I'm a little cross-eyed now...But I think I found three....lol.

It looks nice! Did it work to kill the bugs?

EDIT: Maybe not...On closer inspection the white line under the light next to the other obvious one doesn't really look like it....Not very pink, just white...lol

Thanks, I won't know if it truly worked, until I get home but it seems to have helped at a minimum...

PS you can actually only see 2 in the picture...

So a couple of weeks ago, while doing some tank maintenance, I noticed these little guys floating around (I think they hitched a ride in on the water hyacinth):

Then, I came home to find this guy hanging out... Hope my wife doesn't realize I'm now breeding Dragon Flies now...
