Make sure you let it cycle properly before adding your Ornate.

we have excellent water quality here + i added some cladiphora algae and some water stuff ect. So i guess it will be all fine at thuesday.

???

I have great water quality too, but I still need to cycle my tanks!!!

erm..yes, polies were hardy fish but it would be better if the water is cycled no?
once nitro cycle is up, it keeps the water clear and u can better enjoy your fish too right?
take tokyogasmask's advice man... he is like the master yoda of polies... lol.. :P

I wonder who let it cycle in africa, when they swim into flooded area. lol

OK, If you don't want to listen thats fine.
Just a suggestion though, read what you just posted again, then one more time and really think about it.

Nice tank, but please let it cycle.

In flooded areas, the water is so vast, any pollutants (ammonia, nitrite) are instantly diluted to such low concentrations that it becomes harmless. Plus I'm sure millions of years should be sufficient for nitrifying bacterias to grow on the river bed, pebbles, driftwood... etc.

In Aquarium, there is no excess water to dilute those pollutants released by the fishes (unless you are running a drip system). Example, my 280g tank can only hold 280g, if i try to dilute it like in the wild by adding more water, my tank will get flooded. If you don't let the tank cycle, ammonia and nitrites can quickly rise up to dangerous levels.

Excellent water quality doesn't really matter. The fish are polluting the water, whether you like it or not. Even if your tap water has no ammonia, when you put fishes into the tank, ammonia will start to increase because your fish are releasing it directly from gills and excrete. Even fish poop and leftover foods will break down into ammonia.

I do know that. But i keep and breed fish for several years now, so does my father and my grandfather. We never had any losses. So stop insulting me, evryone has his own methods. My work fine and i won´t change it. I have no time left to let the tank stand for weeks. I get the fish tomorrow. I´m happy about that and you won´t drag me down. ^^

I would suggest filling your new tank with some old tank water. IMHO, I'm sure an Ornate can handle the cycling process, but this is not a guarantee that it won't have an affect on it whether it affects it's growth or any other health issues. Depending on the size of the Ornate, you can place it in the established tank with the Sens until the tank is cycled.
