hhaha im thinkin of quitting the hobby i fell in love with an oscar fry i had at about 2 inches i taught him to eat from my hand and i could pet him and he reached almost 16 inches and about a week ago my cuzin forgot to close the lid and i found him the next day i found him all dried up

THAT SUCKS, sorry to hear that man i just lost my fav fish (a GT) but he was only 3.5in i cant imagine how hard it is lose something youv had that long sounds like you took great care of him for him to reach his full size, but yeah dont let it get you down, mourn him and then get you another baby monster to grow out and dont let your cousin near the tank!! lol
 
I have a book that has a pic of that same one which states that it is a close to wild or F2 or F3 so i think you did quit well. You may want to get a couple of more
 
If thats the case should i go get another they had 2 left. I would have 3 then. I would only keep 2 when they got bigger tho.

What happen with the stock in the 55g tank and the 75g that you were planning?
 
O that is still going i got a sick deal from the ppl i bought a 75 gallon from they had another stored away that leaked i got it for 50 bucks and im resealing it this week
 
well its like u said things change. the snow that covered us a week or so ago gave me some goo overtime and extra money. I'm re-enforcing my stand to hold 2 75 gallons so save room. When a good deal comes to u u jump on it and i did. All these fish will be in my 125 after they get bigger. The 125 is my dads who doesnt want it so its mine now and ill sell 1 of the 75's and use the other for a sump system.
