Similar situation here .. This morning I had places to go... Went to check on my jag tank before leaving which is in the basement and coincidentally my male also had gotten over to on the females side of the divider... Did not want to leave them that way so I ushered the male back onto his side.... Just goes to show the intelligence of these fish and how when they really want to do something they can get it done if its at all possible.... Last time it was the female that got over the divider about 1 and a half months ago.... two days later they spawned... They have spawned twice in all since then..... I use the egg crate( plastic light diffusers)dividers ..you can get them at Home Depot ... I have mine held in place by suction cups on the front he must have somehow pushed through it on the back to end because it's perfectly a place and must have worked like a one way door ...I have some plexi glass dividers but I don't usually use them because they disrupt the water flow... Fish can actually spawnfrom up to 6 inches away through an eggcrate divider.... I've had it happen.... With the effort your fish are showing to be together looks like they're going to spawn within the next 1-3 days....... Would not be surprised if after any time you leave you get home and you got eggs......

When my females tube is about like that there would be egg's that same day..... So I would say spawning in the next 8 to 12 hours.... Just a matter of whether your male is ready to do his part..... Which remembering that he jumped the divider I would say that's a yeah....
