Excellent...time to look into how to setup your sump...the picture I enclosed before were ceramic rings for bio filtering...not toilet rolls ;). You should put them in mesh bags and put them in the middle chamber of your three chamber sump...rest of the sump setup I defer to others who actually have experience with it.

Iam selling my 5' tank..and will get 8' tank..although my aro is only 5" i want her to swim from end to end happily..:)

What are those plants up on the top. And as for all your chambers of ur sump what ive seen done os put mechanical foltration in the 1st chamber, bio filtration in the second although i have seen it where the bio media is free floating with a powerhead to keep them moving, and then in the 3rd chamber the person i saw had the heater and an aorstone in there but that chamber was quite small. If urs is bigg u could do the heater and air stone plus a little more bio media. Can never have to much :)

And there ahouldnt be fish gettong sucked into the sump. I mean iv seen people keep a couple small fish in there sump on purpose to have them eat the leftover food. But again they do it on purpose. Post a pic of your intake to ur sump so we can see why its sucking in fish
