ah don't listen to this- he does not know what he is talking about. I assure you it's not a Kamfa! It is a Red Tex but like most of them while showing a bit of red underlay it still may or may not ever turn and or fade for you. The percentage that actually do are very low, and if they do the percentage of the one who do, that actually turn out a nice coloration (not a yellow or crap orange) are even lower! To put it into perspective for you. A few year back a friend and I imported 300 from a very reputable high quality Thai breeder. We grew them all out in 3 240 gallon tanks until they were around 4-5 inch in size before beginning to sell them off. Of the batch maybe 7 turned and of them only 2 were anything worth thinking about keeping.
I wish you luck with it but if you don't get what your hoping for in the long run. A word to the wise learned the hard way-You want a nice one, pay the money and get one which has already faded. They are awesome fish and the one's which turn are for some reason super aggressive so you will get your money's worth in the long run.
