i take it that this "beak nose" problem is common in EBJD's or both morphs? i didnt realise it was a problem i thought it was part and parcel of having EBJD and it has put me off them.nice JD's btw.

It's not uncommon to see deformed ebjds. That said, there ARE very good looking ones (such as these) as well. Their appearance seems to vary much more than that of normal jds, and you often can't tell until they grow out to 4" or so. Of my three, one is ugly as all heck: beaknose, stunted pectorals... He's also king of the tank; has been almost from the beginning.
