thats why i may trade him and some of my other cichlids in like my 2 baby cons and just keep my pink con and 2 adult black cons and get maybe a couple of jewls to grow out for the other 29 then the cons can stay in this 29

If a 29G is the biggest you can go, then why are you implying that the jewels can grow out it that?

And I highly doubt that you could be a better fishkeeper then japes if you think that putting a fish in a 2.5G is going to make it behave.

I just watched the video you posted with your FM and Convict ....what is the deal with the Convict? He looks as if he has lost most of his tail at some point ...his body is really short.

That's not his tank, just an example, and that's some deformed Convict that a store actually managed to sell. The guy who uploaded the video has got Blood Parrots, he'd buy anything :/

If those new cons are adults then the FM is going to end up dead. FMs are more bark than bite, if they liplock with cons they eventually get torn up jaws; cons are stronger.
