My new pikes

the smaller of my 2 sveni have that same blotch and the stripes are turning into the broken up pattern of the sveni. my larger one was the same way when it was smaller too.

Keep in mind these fish are 6-7"

horiyoshi, spangled is a common name for the whole saxatilis group which we have already established that these are in. (not trying to be offensive or rude)

done guessing im out of guesses and doesnt seem like anyone else is trying so what are they?

Here's another picture. You'll see the male looses his dark markings when he's comfortable. They seem to be settling in nicely.

Can I tell them what they are yet? Or leave them to keep guessing? They might get it in a few more guess's actually. Here is a hint, look at the 'tear drop' below the eye.

Can you get any more pictures of them? Like distinct pictures of both of them. That would be awesome! Can't tell from your pictures if you are taking pictures of the same fish or not.

I'm guessing either menezesi or anthurus (leaning towards anthurus)
