Very nice mate. What are you using for filtration ? and what type is the ray ? looks like an Orb, how big ?

Nice work.

I'm guessing not your living room :grinno:

We don't have the luxury of a built-in fish room here in Fla.

With all the insulation, where in Michigan?

I'm from Mt. Clemens originally.

I'm in jackson between kalamazoo and ann arbor, I used the insulation between the liner and the frame and on the outside of the pond as well. I have a "michigan " basement as in that i could never finish it off and for that fact it cann get kind of cold down there in the winter, i just was trying to cut down the heating cost..and make the water temp more stable for my ray..

Looks good. I was thinkin about putting a pond in my basement also but then when I thought of how expensive it would be to heat it in the cold Michigan winter I reconsidered. Now I just need to find me a big tank.

I was in Jackson back in '63 or '64 for about an hour

Went to see my uncle's 'piece of property' there...turned out to be a 100'x50' lot with a dried up ditch instead of a stream.
