my new ray tank (awaiting ray)

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
oh and Kevaldo i didnt answer the second part of your question anyways a lfs close to me has rays on a fairly regular basis and told me they were getting some hystrix in soon (got me all excited) till i asked where from. After he told me not from brazil i decided it would probably be orb or humerosa

we'll see about that...
although thats what i said about chinchillas... and computers... and tattoos... ... ...
uh oh... lol

Can't wait to see that with rays!

... haha i hooked a ray this morning when i was fishing with my telescopic rod (fold out sort of thing) I thought it was a snag till i brang it a foot onto the shore and saw it and then decided to cut the line....
i was standing on a rock 5ish foot back... as it was muddy as hell.

poor fella :/

thats a nice starter tank for rays.

sorry for blowing up like that last nite, i just have had this happen to many times of forums where people just naturally assume that i dont know anything, in this case that i am just buying a ray cause i saw one in the store or something like that
i have done research into them and am reading more and more about them everyday.
the whole reason i joined this website/forum was because i read through most of the websites i could find, read through a few books and my next thought was to talk to people who know rays best, people who own and care for them.
be assured this is not going to be a fad with me and i am not going to get bored after a while with rays as it probably has happend with some people, i have loved rays all my life and just recently (in the past few years) got interested in freshwater ones, only in the past 6 months or so did i start thinking about keeping one.
i guess i'll shut up about my life story now and stop sidetracking my own thread... lol(damn i talk to much)

anyways just wanted to apologize to anyone who thought my outburst was directed to them.

they are actually attached to the wood and they are also somewhat tied around the driftwood as well, pretty sure they wont be going very far, unless rays can rip plastic
