my new shark pool

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
they pool is a pearls of paridise , you have to google "pearls of paridise drayton oragon" as there are so many hot tub companys named the same thing. i researched it alot and at the end of the day found no one including the manufacture that has ever had a problem, some peaople even have pools set up that are over 10 years old. and seeing as they gentleman i deal with in my city for saltwater has probly over $50,000.00 in cois in his couple pools i was sure it was a good choice.

Nice set up. I didn't read all the comments but saw the question about handling them.

As long as you aren't forcing it, you can do it. Bamboos are the prefered touch pool species of shark, and I've seen some smoothounds the same way. Sharks are smarter than people give them credit for. Even smarter than a lot of marine mammals (*Cough* dolphins *Cough*). If you work with them, they are able to do some amazing things.

My nurse shark is totally hand tame - swims up and sits in my hand to be fed.

I'm jealous. Last time I got up close to a small nurse I ened up needing a patch. (Of course I was catching by hand and pulling out to transfer to a larger display). :grinno:
