It's always exciting getting a new member, especially an Aro.

I found frozen blood worms works well too in the mix.

My boy seems to be doing good in the smaller tank for now. Can anyone sex my new Aro by the pics? I'd like to know for sure if I'm calling a boy "my boy" lol

Not really, too small. From the looks of it the aro just absorbed the egg sac.

Well update my aro was doing good this morning when I left for work. Still haven't witnessed it eating yet and that's got me concerned but it seemed to be swimming and staying active so hopes are high it will start eating and putting some growth on him!
 
Ya the lfs was feeding him crushed up krill I'm going to get some today. His fins got torn a bit but other than that he looks good. I'm glad I got him out as soon as I did. I'd hate to have seen him an hour or two later. I bet when he gets a few more inches the ol Tex won't be pissing with him to much lol
