GOOD NEWS! well i have been feeding strictly pellets the past few days and the arowana keeps mouthing the pellets and then spitting them out and i tried again today and he did the same thing earlier in the day but i tried again and he actually ate it! so i got excited and i put another one in hoping he would eat that one also but he didnt and the bass has yet to eat a pellet but he is really interested in them haha

i find bichir a good company (if you are into those) or rays (if you fancy them). fancy pleco is cool too

bummer on the rays. as for bichir, they readily take MP (or you would have to go sinking pellets)

oh okay thats good to know yeah most the places around here feed them live im pretty sure so if i find a place that doesnt feed live then ill defiantly pick one up because i love them they look awesome thanks man! and damn you have quite a collection of fish are all those in your thread in one tank? that must be awesome having all of them i wish they were all legal here haha thanks again!

No my fish are spread out in several set-ups. been trying to mix - sometimes with deadly results. SR by itself with bichir (ray was killed off by one of them). silvers + BBXB. HBRTG by it lonely self, jar is in solitary too ... err need to update signature - green is eaten by one of the RTCs. the rest are housed together. the aro tanks have tinfoil barbs with them

haha wow thats awesome and damn sorry to hear about your green as much as i love red tailed cats i dont think i would ever get one because of there size and how much they eat haha maybe one day tho haha have a rtc pond of something haha

thanks ... the green killed golden XB (and possibly the black aro). so i am not too sorry for him...

hmmm sounds like a soap opera ... lesson learned = choose tank mates wisely

hey everyone good news my aro is eating pellets stably! he eats a bunch of them and then we will start playing with the pellets it seems like pushing them around putting them in his mouth and spitting them back out is this because he is full?? anyone see similar behavior?? and my bass still hasnt eaten pellets yet :(
