My new snow leopard ray and pictures of development

Could just be females. Who knows. ;)

You are not allowed to export the adult rays. But their brown young is still allowed to be shipped.
 
i doubt that it is just females probably just a fluke,that would make it the first rays species that differ in apperance based on sex that i know of.i know size is but never coloration of rays.

but who knows i maybe wrong about that too.i wonder if their is any ray species in which the males and females differ in coloration?
 
calgary i think i hate you. you have the bosenami and now the xingu. i am jealous for sure.congrats on the rare rays!
 
dont get me wrong... the boesemani is much nicer and way harder to find but this ray is something else.
it starts as a ugly brown ray for 4-6 years or even more. than starts to turn into the most amazing animal on earth lol!
i still think my nicest ray is my freak of nature flower ray but these two others "boesemani & snow leopard" they are their own category guys!
