I am going to more then likly get two motoro stingrays to take over the bottom. and a big bicher I got this weekend if he outgrows the 125 he's in now.

I was thinking armatus but still on the fence with him. I am still in the thought phase of stocking. I mean I have had TONS of time to think but that's not allways a good thing. b/c you get to much time to change your mind

Get your heaters in there Bro...BB develops best when water temp is over 80f...
You can easily build a Durso

or
one of these for your standpipe...

I'll get then next. I think the top will be last. simply b/c It's going to suck to get made. And I don't have enough power outlets down there yet to use two pumps and a big heater. I am calling electitions this week about comming and giving an estimant for running a new sub-box and outlets for the basment. I priced some stuff today at lowes. It is going to run me about $5 an outlet. and $60 for a sub-box. And somwhere in the ballpark of $3-11 per 10' of conduit depending on what I go with. So the electircal shouldn't be to expensive in parts but idk about labor. I know I am not doing it. I have gotten shocked before and our house is not wired well in the first place I am not chancing it.

but I'll get the heaters next it will have to wait more then likly a month. unless I get some OT. If my OT wasn't cut this thing would have allready had fish.

I am not really sure about cohading discus with rays. I have not yet owned either. I know I can have many things cohabed with rays. But I am not sure what kind of water quality the discus would need. It is a good idea but I would do a much smaller tank for discus b/c I want the tank to have no fish that won't exceed 2' once fully grown. Maybe down the road I will do duscus but not in this monser.

i like where this tank is headed ... the goldies are a great community fish, i say you add 2 rays, and then about 200 comets, and leave it like that

HAHAHA !!!

I saw the first few pages and couple of last ones ^^ heheheh you are still at the feeder stock and cycling the tank.

Can't wait to see it fully stocked.

Marble pim catfish does not grow that big (2'-3' tops). How about getting some of them (fairly nice patterns?). You might wanna go with some fancy plecos L22, 25 or 114 (really would add color to your tank)

Too bad you can not have asian aros ... well silver, black and jar would still be great
