Yes, that quote was from classcages. Dimensions 53Lx22Dx24H.
But can't wait to see this bad boy stocked. :) I'm surprised there are no bracing beams on the top.

Dimensions 53Lx22Dx24H is not the standard that they make, maybe this is a reason.

The glass in my tank is really thick ! 3/4"

Looks awesome.

any concerns with a rimless tank, that they rays could get out? I have seen a few rays bail out before.

Thank you ;)
It is 1,5" - (3,5cm) between water surface and and the edge of the aquarium. It should by OK, but even that I ordered cover. It should be ready for 1 week.

Very nice clean setup! Any other stock besides the rays?

Thank you ;)

5 Hystrix Stingrays (4 female and 1 male) and 3 small L114 Pleco - when they will have 4-5" I move them to the another tank.

Wow! That is looking sweet. Lighting is perfect too.

With regards to the difference in price...is one glass and the other acrylic?

The same size of tank the acrylic tanks are more expensive.

For example:
glass: 125 Wide / 72 x 24 x 17 Tall / $520
acrylic: 125 Wide 72 x 24 x 17 (Clear Eurobracing) $735
= ~ 40% more expensive.

This is probably reason why the price you got higher, second reason is that the tank is not the standard one.

The cover came!

I have to glue the supporting strips; it was good because I learned how to stick together (merge) plexiglass. It is not as difficult as it might have been assumed, if we preserve a few basic rules.

The cover is made from 0.5" plexiglass. There are two different parts with big hole in the middle for driftwood. Edges from the top are slightly rounded. Strengthens are in the edges and pass the width of the cover to make it stiffer, and not distorted from the heat. We'll see if it will pass an examination ;)

Cover, especially the greater part, is quite heavy; it was not easy to put it on the tank only by one person.

So far I’m very pleased, especially with the quality and how they look!

PS: I’m still waiting for cycle my tank ;( to put in my Hystrix !
