My New Tank Need Advice ( Load Warning )

i need to start hittin gup the LFS's in your area, let me know of some good ones to check out :D

WIth your tank im not sure how many your gonna need man, i reckon 3-4 300w heaters shoul do the trick..
 
hey great looking tank and even a better deal,

As far as heaters I would say between 900 and 1200 watts depends on your surrounding temp of your tank, i.e. heated room or non heated basement, I run three 300 watt external heaters on my 570Gal, I can run my tank with only 2 heaters. But I like to have 3 though for a more stable set up and a back up. My temp is always with in .02 Celsius 24/7.

Not sure on weight Boots but it took 8 big guys to lift it out of the Van and onto the stand
 
Hi Guys,

Well the sump is up and running. The only probleme I am faceing is that the 40mm bulkheads that I purchased are 40mm OD which means the pipping i am running is only 25mm ID and I am only able to achieve around 2600 LPH. My question is that seeing that 50mm bulkheads are impossible to get here if I was to use an adapter to increase to pipe size to say 40mm ID would this allow more water flow or would I still be restricted by the bulkhead. I hope I have made sense........

Ok guys here are few updated shots of the new monster tank, I had washed a put the 70kg of gravel in ( Took me just on 2 Hrs to do so )

I then pinched my favourite peice of driftwood from my 3x2 to go in.

I also packed the first 2 chambers of the sump with JapMat and the second has got 2kg of Matrix with more to follow once the funds become available.

I Added my 15mm PBass at around 3pm today, Then followed by 2 25mm PBass that I picked up at 7pm tonight. So far all is looking well.

Also I was wondering what kind of Bass the 2 big guys are I think they are Mono's but I'm no expert.

Your thoughts and advise is always welcom
