Would the gourami size have anything to do with it? maybe my p's are a little stupid cause the gourami is about their size and has a bit of an orange tinge on its anal fin and is speckled...maybe they can't tell the difference haha or am I underestimating my p's intelligence?
 
I read an article once out of a book (not just some random forum post because I feel that too many unexperienced people that have never had a specific fish or pet like to comment on what they've heard instead of drawing on their personal experience) that sometimes shoals will accept another type of fish and protect it because they konw their strength is in numbers and they're only as strong as their weakest link.

So i'm interested in how things work out with your fishkeeping experience because you're living it, not some he said she said crap
 
haha yeah I agree with ya...the only thing that has happened to the gourami (I was just looking close at him) is a tiny nip out of his tail which could have been there before, and the whisper things that hang down are a bit shorter...but I know they break off sometimes so it could have just been him going crazy (which he does)
 
Addicted already? What's funny is the same posts from a guy would get a few responds, every thread you make takes on a life on it's own.
