I'll attach the pic to this message. I'll be interested to hear what you think of the 2.2, have you driven an f20c one to compare?

That's a sweeet S2K! :WHOA: Do you know what type of hood he has? Also, like the front lip...Mugen I am guessing.

I did drive a f20c, but someone had beat the hell out of it, so it was pretty lame. I know they are not all like that. I was really worried about buying a used car with a 9K redline, that's why I went with the 2.2...not that 8K is much better. lol So far I like the 2.2, but haven't really pushed it, yet. I will let you know once I get it out on the track. The local club here has some track time coming up and I think I am going to try and get in on it.

Hadn't planned on it. I kind of like the white, except for it showing brake dust, dirt, and rubber.

You think I should?

I like it. If it gets to be a problem, consider it later. Also, I bought ceramic brake pads, reduced brake dust big time.

Yeah its a mugen lip (genuine, not a copy). The car looks a hundred times better in person.

I wouldn't be too worried about the high redline, honda engines are known for their reliability (hell I know of b16a's from around 89-92 still around getting punished to 8-9k on stock internals after 140kms+). Looking foreward to seeing some pics of the car on the track!!

Bret, let me know when you're going to the track. I'd like to play the role of the photographer that day. Perhaps You could be the photographer if I get the Bimmer going in time.

I will definitely be looking into a set of those.

I never had any issues with my 06 SI, and it's 8K redline, but I got rid of it after 36K miles. This is my 4th Honda now, with the 06 SI (now sold), a 99 CR-V (Daily Driver), and an 08 TL (wife's car). I have become a big fan.

Track time at Putnam Park is kind of pricey. I may just go out and do some Auto-x to begin with and save the Putnam Park track time after I do some mods.

Can't wait for you to get that Bimmer going BTW. :D

You guys suck. LoL. I wish I could decide that I want a car for doing things on the weekend and go get one. *sigh*....

I have been waiting for a long time for this type of car, around 8 years. It eventually will happen if you want one.

JD that thing is beautiful.. Love the look of those cars and that one looks super clean. Only thing that would make it better would be a hardtop..

Good call, was looking at a mag a few days ago, and was astonished about how bad-arse, the mugen Hardtop's were.

Rims+ceramic pads=brake dust blessing from semi-metallics...
