Dang! I thought I had you with the tubes. :nilly:

I'm working on the longer lenses. They are not cheap new and somewhat rare on the used market, at least around these parts. ;).

Tell me about it ,just my 300mm and 400mm cost me just under $15,000! And with the 1Ds　MKIII going for $8,000 when I bought it, just those three items make me worried when I leave them in the car.

LOL at the tubes, I have 2 X 36mm,1 X 20mm and 1 X 12mm kenko tubes.

I'm guessing you have your equpiment under warrenty's right? no way i'm spending that doe without protecting what i bought, as far as bodies i will never spend 3k again. mabey 2 but with the way that new bodies come out and people throw there perefectly good used bodies away for pennies it's kinda pointless, bodies can't hold onto resale value at all.

about 2 weeks after the D3 hit the market, i picked up a perfect D2Xs off ebay for $1000, if this was 6 months eariler i would have spend 3000+. look at the D2Hs, a perfect body that commanded $4500 a couple years ago, people sell them for 500 bux now. In all honesty it gets kind of obnioxious with photogo's trying to stay with the newest and best equipment.
