My oscar is in a 55g and is 7" and he looks cramped. He is being upgraded soon if not next month.

I'm waiting on the same thing, especially when a midas isn't a whole lot more of a monster than an oscar, well size wise anyway, a 75 gallon is pushing it for a grown oscar, even in a 75 nitrates will build up really quickly.
