I have no idea jer, but there's one thing for sure... not much can go wrong with a spray bottle lol.

Agreed. I'm old school and still use a lizard mister I picked up from Petsmart. My friend bought a fogger but has had issues with it.

So how often to you guys use your spray bottle on your cams?

I have heard twice a day, then I heard three times a day. Is there any real difference? Three times a day would be hard for me considering I have a job...lol I was thinking about spraying before and then after work, and again maybe before bed. Are there better times to spray than others?

What are the signs that one should be spraying more?

Either go with a dripper, or spray them once a day.........Thats what I do.....

I know nothing about "cams", whatever that is, Jer.

You have awesome automatic misting systems from an american company called Pro-Products. The owner is Bob. Tell him I sent you. ( google it )

An automatic system, if it works, beats the spray bottles any day. You can regulate it to the "exact " needs of whatever environment you want to humidiy. Some are even apt to spray for just a few seconds every hour ( or whatever interval you want to use ).

What is it you want to spray? Is a natural type environment or tottally bare? Please elaborate so we can go deeper, my friend....

You're keeping Camshaft in your cage? But....the cage I put you in is barely big enough for you!

And how the hell did you get internet in there?

Miguel, this is for a Panther or Jackson Chameleon. Would the system you are speaking of work with these guys? How long have you been using this system? Seems like most people are saying they dont work very well....

What do you use them for?

I don't think anyone is saying they don't work "well", because they do. They just need alot of upkeep and preventative maintenence to keep them working. Even the Pro Mist systems.............The water quality and mineral content are going to vary in each situation, and even with high quality water, the system is still going to need daily upkeep. If you had a Cham collection with some numbers behind it, then it may be worth it. But if you only have a few, buy or design a dripper and it will give you less headache in the long run..............

Thank you for the input, I have also changed the title of this thread so I dont flood the forum with massive questions.

The kit I am going to buy apparently comes with a mister so either way I will try it out and see. Speaking of the kit I am buying I wanted to see if everybody agreed on whether it was a good fair price and included everything one should begin with.

Here is the link...

$295.00 for all sound good and complete?

This website seems to be very comprehensive. Would people agree that this website contains accurate information?

I almost bought that same kit.
LLLReptile has it for cheaper.

Thanks!

So would you say this package is better? Less equipment thou...

http://lllreptile.com/store/catalog...-cage-packages/-/22-gallon-chameleon-package/

I'd say neither...........Both Cages are going to be too small unless you want to upgrade 2 or 3 weeks later...........I'd also shy away from all that zoo-med/zilla/fluker/whatever crap............Go get a Ficus or something similair to put inside..........I do prefer Reptariums over metal screen cages though..........Home Depot is your friend in this case, I just can't stand the pet store supplies - They're made for Humans, not the animals..........
