my thoughts exactly, i have two that are getting huge quick and the rest are still just slowly moving along. there is defintely a dominant one already, it will be interesting to see how the pecking order progresses. i would love to see some shots of yourssponger_2;4161396; said:man they look great. mine look exactly like yours. i love seeing the orange/red color when they move a certain way. and the fluorescent color fins is sweet.
sigh i really want to get a male now but they would prolly freak on the rest of the fish very cool, looking forward to itsponger_2;4163085; said:i will try and get a couple shots this weekend for u. they are all going into a 160. 60"x32"x18" but it still might be hard as my abalios are camera hogs.
I purchased my Geophagus sp. "Araguaia Orange Head" colony at around 3-4cm in length on February 4, 2009, and sold them on January 27, 2010, with the dominant males at around 5.5" TL.
In chronological order, here's their growth (without figures). There's probably a substantial gap or two in there but this is all I've got.

Pretty amazing what happens over 12 months with such a gorgeous species.
