"Oscars are carnivores"....After all this years we still hear this kind of crap...I guess he also believes that they are the most agressive fish in the hobby...Come on , man...this are NOT the 80´s ....A LOT has changed...you should update yourself.

Thats what he tryed to do with the other members posts, when he tryed to sound like a professor, but was giving a really bad advice. Im tired of this...There´s always someone to say bad things about other peoples fish ,tank or fish keeping skills. If a guy show a pic of his tank, before seeing stock list, thers ALWAYS an idiot to say: "overstocked", "uderfiltered", " i bet your fish are all dead", etc...And they are always agressive in their replys. So, i decide ill be agressive too, towards those called " fish experts".

I'm not saying the person who made the "oscars are carnivores" comment is a newb or he/she is not..I'm just saying. That's a common misconception that Oscars are carnivores. Those who have done lots of research and been involved in discussions know that oscars are omnivores...they'll eat anything. My understanding is that, in the wild, their primary diet is crustaceans, but they will eat anything edible that they come across..lolMy oscar wont eat fruit only pellets or goldfish... honestly anything will become a omnivore if you ***in starve it
