My oscar has hole in the head=(

yea his hith is realy not that bad.hes got a little pinsized hole on his head, and a little bit by his belly.

his belly? thats odd.

Can you post pics to be sure that's what you're even dealing with?

Not usually found near the belly.


Not to mension they naturally have pin silzed holes on their heads. They are sensory pits and some fish have larger ones than others.
I think pictures would help.

lol.. yeah. Oscars can be picky if they've been fed the same thing over and over their whole life.



I would offer him something more to his liking first. Crickets or worms would probably go over well.

well you could just go to your local bait/fishing store and buy some. its easier. and petstores sell freeze dried crickets.

Earth worms/Night Crawlers, they love them. I have never seen an O turn those down. Very nutrient and cheap as well. What size tank is it? Def follow the advise you have been given so far, you NEED a gravel vac immediately I am guessing. Have you been doing water changes at all? how did you do them without a siphon? O's are a great fish, if you take care of them they will reward you with their incredible personality.
