Oscars look bug eyed and tattered when young. Foot long ones that are chunky and have perfect oval like fins look great

oscars are ugly.. They all have that lumpy HITH look.. Eww. If I ever owned a oscar it would be all black, or all white. None of that "tiger" gibberish. I just sold four 10" oscars for $20, thats how much I hate them!

I used to have two great Oscars, one tiger and one albino. Unfortunately had to give them away because I couldn't get the tank I was hoping to. They are so far my favorite fish, the personality was awesome...I miss those guys...someday I will have them again. I think they would be a real cool fish to keep in a group of 6 or more...obviously in a huge tank with mega filtration haha

Sweet looking set up in that tank. I really like it. Your oscar looks similar to mine - I like the "red tigers". Great coloring.
