Nice, I typically would not recommend putting lava rock or anything jagged so the oscars do not get injured but yours appear to be in good shape.

thanks all for the comment..that is a full tank shot..and yes they are not hurt by those rocks in anyway...would someone care to rate this setup and also provide some suggestions on improving it?
ps By the way this wont be an oscar setup for too long..i have some other oscars in another tank and all will be going together in one large tank..this might be firemouth setup which are right now in a growout tank

wow thanks...thats flattering...i know the fish are not evenly matched but i love oscars and hope to have one of each variety in my big tank!
And the water is clear because it has 2 2217's on it..water temp to 28.no aeration i just leave the filter pipes at par with water level
