The 10" Oscar might be stunted. Your other Oscar is growing on pace so keep that up. As for the peacock bass, if you have excellent filtration and 2 25% water changes per week you might could add a small peacock an grow him out and then upgrade or sell him.

i have 2 fx5's on the tank, i tyically do saturday or sunday water changes of 80-90% just a inch or so above the the largest fish (my albino oscar)

Really it's up to you if you feel your tank can handle another large fish. If you do add a peacock, I would take all of your other stock out except the two oscars.

well ya i realize that, my other fish would likely become food over time... and there is a possibilty they may become food once the tiger grows large as well....and id think id likely get a PB around the 8" mark or smaller so it dont grow faster or out grow the tiger oscar, would want them to grow somewhat cloe together so they can get along as ya would say without one becoming lunch lol .... and i always thought you would need 2-3" fornt and rear of fish in order for it to turn around... (i also have 2 of my fish up for sale now i dont like them anymore lol)

I like to say the width of the tank should be 1 1/2 times the length of the fish and the length of the tank should be 4 times the length of the fish. Obviously that's not necessary! Lol. And I have never owned a p bass but I believe they grow pretty dang fast when young...might want to check out their growth rates as I'm not positive on that

ya i know they get large all though i cant find anywere that stats or shows the growth rate on them...all i know is the kelberi kind grow alittle slower then the others most people keep...wow 1.5times the size of the fish lol... that means one one need say like a 4ft wide tank for oscar and PB lol that just massive

its't also 2 inches thick. IMO it is probily the the size of a female umbee. It is not very active so it is not misrable. it has almost died from columnaris before. I will post a pic if i can find the pic.

01012012646.jpgPretty bad, I managed to save him. he is currently alive, he was never as happy or active after that. it happened almost a year ago...
