Yea, I'v learned my lesson with plecos being poop machines. The pleco died and the tank is clean with less or the same amount of wcs. I wonder if the pleco was 99.9% of the bioload??

maybe not enough filteration ? i have a pleco in my tank and i honeslty dont see alot of poop laying around, could be all getting sucke dinto my filter tho too lol
yea there was a guy selling 17" oscar that was a year old he had others as well reason he was selling was to mke room for new fish, he said all of his fish have gotten huge and only wanted 50 bucks for him and was 2 hrs from me but at the time adding him to my tank would be a great idea lol
filtrations is pretty low, 1 empor 400. He is the only fish in the tank now so it's fine.
That what he said when I talked to him about it, said all his oscar have gotten around that size within a year
if you really want a monster oscar you should go to the amozon river and catch a wild one:j/k: Try to find a pearson that supplies wild caught oscars. A wild oscar would probibly get at least 14 inches. if you live in florida you can get free wild caught oscars!
