All about the same. Banded is rumored to be a little more shy, but who knows really. They belong to a group that's referred to as thumbnails ( little darts)
Well I couldn't fight it off anymore. Here's a future 5-6 banded or normal leucomelas tank. Pile of driftwood coming in Mon. Need to grab some egg crate and dark compressed cork panel then I should get things started.
Small update. I have my drift wood and half the plants. I'll be laying down the screen before the substrate and grow stones between the glass this weekend. Then it's planting time. Waiting on top and lighting. The bottom pic is kind of what I want
Its just light diffuser. Alot of people use leica clay as drainage layer and ABG mix (Atlanta botanical garden). I use a lightweight Eggcrate false bottom and turface mvp

I have two giant Cuban treefrogs that hunt on my window. I heard a thump the other night. A frog grabbed hold of the gecko and tried to eat it but failed. lol
