What are you talking about? A 55gal and a 75gal are both 4 foot tanks (55gal 48x13x20 75gal 48x18x20) The 75gal is 5 inches wider than a 55gal. You really need to stop answering posts with useless information and spend some time getting personal experience. A high post count doesn't mean crap if you can't back up what you posted.

R U CRAZY? Minium tank for an oscar should b 75...that is the only size tank my oscar has ever seen with me...

no he was saying that 40G is better just because it is 4" wider than a 55G. whereas, though a 55G is 4" less wide, it is a whole foot longer. and a 75G is much better because it has (about) the width of a 40G and the length of a 55G. I was just posting my opinion. I don't understand why you are jumping on me like this,:confused: i'm just trying to help.
