Got this little guy today.
He just got his eye bitten out by a Channa but im hoping he will recover soon. He is only ~4" right now and is in my 50g tank for now.

And yes, I do know how big these get but i couldnt refuse to save him. Guess I will be buying/building myself a big tank soon

Does anybody know if i have to be worried about the missing eye? i want him to heal as soon as possible and not getting an infection.

The eye socket will end up closing. just add some salt and raise temp.

BEAUTIFUL fish besides that eye....but you'll fall in love with him for his "uniqueness"

ugh that looks kinda nasty... I'd add some melafix and pimafix and add some salt just incase... should heal up fine just wont be able to see out of that side...

The shark is doing fine and in only a week the eye has filled up nicely, more than i thougth:
